Roger Stone - An Idiot Savant for the Devil's own Skills

Roger Stone is an amazing Bullshit artist...but an idiot none-the-less.  Who could have gotten a misogynistic, racist, narcissist (who has a remarkable ability to put his foot in his mouth every time he says anything) elected?  Simply put, the Renoir - da Vinci - Dali of pure BS.  This guy isn't just an artist...he is one of the great masters.  With skills like these, he could practically have put a hamster in the big chair!  

Yet...did he really think this one through?  He has Grand Children.  He might not give a fuck about the world as is quite apparent in his actions but does he really want to have his great Grand Children growing up in a radioactive hell because he wanted to elect a big man-baby to a position allowing that man to have his finger on the big red button!?  This is what happens when your ego is so large that you can't see past it.



Back in Grade 1, Roger Stone did a bit of a social experiment on his classmates.  They were having a mock election between JFK and Nixon.  Roger actively campaigned against Nixon saying that one of his new initiatives would be to have school on a Saturday.  This rumor spread like wildfire.  It was the first in a long line of massive BS. 

In his Senior Year, he maneuvered the least popular guy in school to run against him. 

He became a good buddy of Richard M. Nixon.  That's his tattoo on his back.  The former president, of course known for the infamous Watergate scandal.  The tattoo symbolizes the idea of never giving up, even in the face of a massive loss...oblivious to the evil that it represents.  Not many people realize that Nixon used tactics to delay peace in Vietnam so that Hubert Humphrey would be tripped up on the issue for the '68 election.  How many people died for Nixon to be president by delaying the end of a senseless war!?  After the election, the peace talks had already failed...and the US was there for 5 more years!  5 years of people dying.   

This idiot has a fucking tattoo of Nixon!?  That's sort of like getting a tattoo of Hitler because you respect his passion!

Roger Stone fought in Vietnam.  Oh!  Sorry!  That was an 'Alternate Fact'.  He actually stayed home finding new ways to ruin the country his fellow man was dying for.  Actually, he has a rare defect of being born without a conscience.  That's why he looks like he doesn't have a frontal lobe...the reptilian absorbed it.

Donald Trump was an officer cadet in '64.  He couldn't go to Vietnam because he had a 'Bone Spur' in his foot.  It apparently went straight up to his ass since he couldn't take a desk job in the Armed Forces either.  He did, however, enjoy dancing all night at clubs.  I guess he only danced on one foot.  Poor Donald!

There is a documentary on Roger Stone on Netflix.  I don't feel like getting into every heinous thing this man did in print.  Lets just say it's worth a 'Look See'.  It's about 2 hours long.  The man wears his infamy like a robe and crown. 

Now we are faced with a REAL threat.  A world leader who idolizes STALIN!!!

Who do we have to stand up to him?  A strong world leader?  What do you think!?

The latest US Presidential was a culmination of all things 'Roger Stone'.  Stone is of the belief that he didn't do anything wrong as he was simply operating within the workable limits of a flawed system.  Technically, however, how many counts of Slander (at his rallies) and Libel (in his book) should have landed him in the can?

Why? He's connected up the wazoo and has the best lawyers in the land.  He's practically untouchable.

Both Trump and Reagan got his support.  He didn't even change the fucking slogan "Make America Great Again!"

He didn't even change his client's angle with the young white voters:  'You have been marginalized and now I'm here to get you great jobs and fight for your future'... You see these poor bastards down on the streets - angry for their situation and glad that someone recognizes their plight - so much so that they fail to see how badly they are being manipulated.  Why?  Stone did it to mock the system.  He's like The Joker from Batman.  He's a Brilliant Evil Genius.

How to deal with Roger Stone

If Roger Stone tells you he saw something walking back from the corner store... you:

a) wonder if he was driving

b) wonder if there even was a store

c) wonder if his eyes were even open

d) wonder if he could even walk that day

e) Know that it is a lie and then ask yourself 'What does he want from me?'

f) All the above!

g) I believe everything a 50-year-career-liar tells me!

 How did this happen?  Because US citizens believe themselves to be inherently superior to anyone else on the planet.  It's what makes them so popular abroad.  When what is perceived to be a 'Gut feeling' gets ahead of actual information then one pooches it this bad.  USA: You paid a high price for this lesson.  For the love of God ...please learn it!

Stone isn't the problem.  He is actually giving the American public a gift in being honest about what he has been able to accomplish in a corrupt system.  It may be right to view his tactics as an object lesson.  

People who believe Stone and fall for Stone-like tactics ARE the problem.  There will always be another Stone (and the next one might not be so overt) - so get wise.  

USA: you were drinking alone, someone slipped something bad into your drink and you woke up in some bed with no clothes and a sore ass.  Seriously wise TF up.  The world is watching and you don't look so 'Superior' anymore. 

BC Liberals; The Right Wing needs to get clipped

Do you ever wonder what happens when people don't think enough about who they are voting in?  When they just follow the dogma of commercial popularity without really thinking about it.

This is the Fraser River at New Westminster.  The city is mostly built on a slope at the bend of the River.  There was a park at Ash near Gloucester that one could sit on a bench at the North side of this park and watch the Fraser to the South and West without obstruction.

done to it.  This is a few years old...so it's much worse now.  
This is the tip of the iceberg.  Most of Vancouver's major streets have become a parking lot during the day.  Condos are everywhere, and yet there is still a 'Housing Shortage'.

The previous BC Liberal leader Gordon Campbell instituted draconian reforms designed to attack the poor and the weak.  He gave those who could swing a hammer a job to build these eye-sores and gave everyone else the finger.  His attacks on social programs actually killed people.  Cuts to welfare and advocacy programs.  People who couldn't get a job were tossed out into the streets because they couldn't pay their meager rent...for the kind of place you would expect to get for $300 a month.  Oh...and the first thing this amazing human being did was to give himself and his cronies a raise just to twist that knife in.  He should have been fired; (and by which I mean to preface with 'doused with gas and lit on'...)

 Okay...so Draconian measure to get the Province back on track, right?  So...somehow the Liberals get in and there is this flood in demand for 'More Housing'.  Shit!?  How did that happen!?  A Change in Political Party somehow produces a massive spike in population gain!?  No.  The "BC Liberal" party is so in bed with the land developers AND foreign real estate investors AND foreign rich pricks with fist fulls of cash.  They couched it in terms of 'Providing Jobs'.  Yes...you will have the opportunity to swing a hammer for your corporate overlords until you get Carpo Tunnel Syndrome where you will make your masters a ton of money and barely have enough to pay your rent.  You will never be able to afford the properties you are building...that money goes into someone elses pockets...someone with lily white hands...someone who hasn't worked hard in his whole damn life!  His family will be kept in the lap of luxury for the next 200 years for what they pulled over on you.  You, on the other hand, just want to make sure your kids can keep a roof over their heads in the next 10 years.

The problem is that their greed is unsustainable.  Selling Vancouver by the inches can never really be a Renewable Resource.  You're not creating 'Long Term' Solutions.  This is short sighted thinking.  They are robbing the People's bank with smiles, statistics and 'we're supposed to be here' and giving it all to the rich.  Is this 'Tricklenomics?'  Because I know exactly what's trickling down and it isn't money.  Who is going to be paying for it?  The people.  The average hard-working people are going to be paying for some rich crook and his fancy antics...for generations.

Highly charismatic developer, philanthropist and patron of the arts for which he was awarded Order_of_British_Columbia.  His charitable contributions and efforts awarded him  Queen Elizabeth II Golden Jubilee Medal and Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Medal.  He only started selling Condo's in 1990 and was so good at it that by 2002 his donations (Very Tax Deductible) were enough to get him an award by the Queen in 2002!!!  That's how much money is actually going to the top!!!  His Generosity seems supreme to us down here in the trenches...but, to him, it's a tax deduction and a PR move.  $26 Million is his Tax Deduction!!!  Yes...we're talking about 

Bob ('I can't believe he's not gay') Rennie.  

Now Bob has a great personality...actually he's got several:  My favorite is the bumbling nervous accountant when he wants to quote numbers that are inaccurate (because who would ever question a socially awkward accountant of being nefarious).  Christie Clark got all of her Real Estate Board information this way.  "There's only 5% foreign buyers!".  A tax of 15% on Foreign buyers lowers sales by 40%.  Huh?  It's almost like he lied. 

You could swing a hammer for a million years and you will never get an award by the queen.  Exploit millions and donate to charity your 'Tax Deduction' and you're a fucking hero!


To add insult to injury, you will be TAXED TO PAY FOR THE INFRASTRUCTURE THAT THESE DEVELOPERS DON'T PAY ENOUGH FOR!!!

If we could tear off the layers of bureaucracy, all of this crap is to basically make you a slave without you realizing it.

Now, 2017, with the writing on the wall...some 'Mysterious group shows up with their $100,000,000 ad campaign to besmirch the NDP.   'Future Prosperity for BC'

This is a tiny portion of the money you made for these fuckers.  This is how they keep their golden ticket.  You should be offended by this. They've exploited you and are now rubbing it in your face. 

If you are dumb enough to vote for these fuckers then you are licking their shit off the sidewalk and are too God Damn LAZY to open your fucking eyes to realize it.

It makes me upset; the kind of monsters that can operate above the law while being nefarious in nature and deed.  I honestly don't know how capable the NDP really is as a governing body but I do know how the BC Liberals have advocated only for the rich...and, by default, screwed everyone else.  Greater Vancouver is a mess not because the BC Liberal Party can't do a good job if they wanted to.  They just don't want to.  They are just like lawyers and only represent those who pay and support them - their Clients: The rich.  After 16 years of pulling the wool over everyone's eyes - they have to go.  At the very least it is an exercise in Democracy.  It's a way for us to say "We were all supposed to be your clients - get the fuck out!"  

Lets face it, guys; The BC Liberals are just Uber SoCreds with a stolen party title.  We can't be fooled again.

   'Future Prosperity for BC' is nothing more than a bunch of rich cunts who like having Sellouts in Government like the "honorable" Gordon Campbell... and Christy Clark; a woman who looks best and most natural in pictures with her mouth open.  

You have to wonder how much money these 'Bottom Liners' are making off of the BC Liberals that they can drop that much and consider it 'Money well spent'.

While you are sitting in traffic with your 'Transportation Mortgage'...consider this:   They've attacked the weak and the poor.  They've attacked the working class.  They attack non-land owners.  Who is next on their list?  I know you have time to think about it on your 2 hour each way commute.

'Khouri Lamar Green' - Racism versus Culturalism

I'm going to say something that is going to sound racist;  Stay with me.  "His kind should have been locked up sooner"

Immediately people would start to scream that I am being a racist. With a racist clown as president PC has kicked it into overdrive.  I don't mean "Black" but examine why you may have kicked that in as your first thought and possibly found a sudden emotion accompanying it.  Black people in the US have been kept down by "The man".  Now...this isn't "The Man's" fault entirely.  Rebelling from white culture in the US, poor black people have adopted a sort

of counter-culture.  This culture keeps them down as much as "The (so called) Man" does.  I mean, seriously, do you really want to hire someone with a massive chip on their shoulder?  I'm not saying that all black people are exposed to this or even that all that have been exposed to this hate culture have not risen above it, but those who are deep in the grips of it are also those who have suffered the most.  Rappers make music to capitalize on hatred and bragging because they have a target audience.  The more you suffer, the more you hate, the more you hate, the less likely anyone wants to hire you.  For some reason,  however, young black people have embraced this militant attitude in countries outside the US as a means of cultural identity.   

So this guy is making songs bragging about robbing and stealing from people, selling drugs (all of which he did for a living)... and a few lyrics about shooting people with SUCH fucking pride... like it is so fucking cool to do these things.   He's even waving guns around in videos.  Someone must have noticed!!!  Now a loving father of 2 is dead...his life ended in his son's arms.  He was running away from his assailant when the big mouth cock sucking coward shot him in the back.

The problem is: "Political Climate".  You know if someone's culture includes stabbing people in the face (for instance) you might want to make sure they aren't likely to do that when they come to this country.  Someone's face will definitely thank you for spending those extra few minutes.  Now you have a "Political Climate" that rebels against "Generalization".  Think of it like a car. You have the 1969 Ford Pinto...known for gas tank ruptures that Immolate the passengers.  That's kind of a serious thing!  Now imagine if all Pintos had feelings and a personality.  Then you have these liberal idiots that jump out of the woodwork that "fight for Pinto's rights! NOT to be discriminated against because NOT ALL Pintos burst into flames!!!"  Vet them for the possibility of it based on the statistics...Yeah...if you think in terms of just numbers and the ultimate damage that could be done (also as a number) then there is no racism...it all comes down to Risk management.  Exactly how many people dying by being instantly set on fire is "TOO MANY" (FFS!).  I'm not generally a Trump supporter but, honestly, the measures he is using is to make the US a safer place to live for everyone...except Terrorists... takes balls.  Some people will be inconvenienced...boo fucking hoo.  What damage could a terrorist do?  Quite a bit, actually.

Meanwhile, in Canada, we've flung our doors open saying "Welcome one and all!  We'll hug and kiss your ass so much that you will never want to hate us."  It's unfortunate that Racism is rampant in Canada...but not really so much from the people who were born here (from all races).  Yes...there are enough people who get into this country who hate the people that are Westernized and of a different ethnic background.  Nepotism is the usual tool of choice for their xenophobia.  So, of course, high risk countries are not scrutinized because that would be "discrimination".  

Lets think about running the US like running a corporation.  Lets say 1% of (say) Iranians are terrorists trying to slip through.  The numbers are there...the proof is there.  "It's not fair to the 99%!!!"  to discriminate!  YOU'RE RIGHT!!!  IT'S NOT FAIR, BUT YOU'RE NOT DEALING WITH A PERFECT WORLD WITH ALWAYS FAIR SOLUTIONS!!!  I've always said this "Safety first".  Yes it isn't fair that the majority should suffer for the actions of a few but a lot more people will suffer (and to a much greater degree) should radical terrorists infiltrate the US.   They have already made enough enemies.  We're living in a time where very few people could change history through actions of massive infamy.  It's not a perfect solution but "Safety first".  Even .0001 of 1000000 is still a hundred people.  A hundred fully committed covert terrorists could KILL a fuck of a lot MORE people THAN A MILLION!!!  This isn't about 'racism' or 'intolerance' it's all just about the data.  I see this as a temporary measure.  The US has a lot of ass to kiss from their follies in the past...but doing so while covering their own is not a bad idea.  

This 'Band Wagon' is so easy to get caught up in.  People so quickly choose 'Group Think' over the individual.  Lets face it: Most 'Groups' are pretty fucking stupid.

If you want to attack racism - DON'T DISCRIMINATE.  We all know this makes sense but we get caught up in the 'Group Think'.  I want to eventually walk down the street and call anyone an A-hole who righteously deserves it...regardless of race, creed, color, sex or sexual orientation.

This is a lie based on a lie.  What is even more scary is the amount of people that I would normally consider intelligent buy into this.  So I'm the same skin color as this guy and therefore am just like him?  I'm "His kind"!?  Huh.  Where have I heard that before; Oh yeah!  Racist Assholes! 

We're fighting on the same team.  The greater enemy?  Ignorance.
We're all just people.  Our cultures can be different.  That is really the only dividing factor.  If we approach that with understanding and tolerance, then, even that becomes a non-issue.

Pompous Wordy Intellectualism Versus Wisdom

I was told by someone with a BA that the process of going to a university was to realize how little you know.  Though that point was made by Socrates, the majority of those who I have met that have attended university act like they know everything.  Often it takes time spent with the 'Lower Classes' to realize that some knowledge can't be taught in a classroom.

It wasn't too long ago I was at a party where one of my relatives brought over friends who are at the far end of the intellectual spectrum.  These two were so much up their own asses that they couldn't hear you when you were trying to make a point.  They were so much the intellectual superior, that if it required thinking, they were 'Far more qualified' to making it than you were.  'Ask once and listen twice' is what I try to adhere to.  People have a lot to teach...you just have to really listen.  The linear thinkers have dominated the realm of intelligence.  This guy was testing my ability to follow along his linear progression of thought;  I went lateral.  In his limited thinking, there was only one right answer; the one in his head.  They are fools...intelligent - fools.

Want to play a joke on a linear thinker?  Walk into a room with your right sleeve rolled up and the left down.  When they complain that you 'Aren't symmetrical', roll up your left pant leg.

It's easy to think that, when it comes to wisdom, intelligence is the highest factor.  The ability to listen and the willingness to understand what someone is saying and where they are coming from are equally important.  I used to ask people questions that I knew the answer from several other sources because I wanted to know how they would answer.  We put our faith in the linear thinkers in an age of isolation (due to a reliance on technology) and we are just asking for trouble.  These people will base their thoughts on other thoughts that they've had and so on.  It's a tower built on sand.

Journalists who travel along the spectrum of over-intellectualism are dazzling wordsmiths but that doesn't mean what they say is actually the truth.  You can enjoy how they say something but you also have to have your own opinion and not be blinded by flash and mirrors.

I was actually going to break down an article written by a journalist who, I just found out, is local. He teaches creative writing at one of the universities.  His writing is cryptic, lofty and lacks wisdom.  I might reconsider but right now I just want to get the lay of the land a bit more.

Far Cry Primal - Review

I held out on FC-Primal until it hit the discount bin.  I couldn't imagine a game so equipment centered could be any good with just clubs, sticks and critters.  What I got was:  You are blazing through the wilderness on the back of a Sabretooth Tiger.  An event happens; some of your tribe are being taken away by another tribe.  You get off your mount and summon an owl who's eyes you can see through.  It flies over the target group using 'Hunter Vision' and tags your targets.  Through the owl, you can send your Tiger to kill 2 captors and attack the third with the owl.  Then you can run up and free the hostages.  Maybe you would prefer to run right up to them on the back of the Sabretooth; getting it to attack while you toss spears, clubs and fire arrows and shards.  Maybe you would prefer a stealthy approach.  It's all up to you. 

The game rewards skill as well.  In all other FC's before, someone shoots at you and you generally get hit.  Don't want to be hit?  Make it so they don't see you or can't hit you.  In FC Primal, if you don't want to get hit with a spear or club, you can move.  These projectiles don't exactly travel at Supersonic speeds.  Play it fast and loose and you have the edge.

You can't fly but, to be honest, that sort of broke the game in FC4.  As much as I loved flying in that game, it was all I ever did because it made movement and being safe so much easier.  FC Primal allows you to see the terrain around you through the eyes of an owl.  Knowing the terrain gives you an edge but you don't get to bypass it all together.

In FC3 and 4 you ended up getting almost all your crafting upgrades relatively early.  In Primal, there always seems to be something more you can get and do. 

What do I miss from FC4?  The music.  Hands down.  My most favorite missions were those with decent music to them.  That 'Reggie and Yogi' mission with Akasha playing 'Hippie Shit'... or driving the bomb truck to the barricade to the tune of 'Bombay Twist' ... awesome!  The Characters.  I mean, lets face it, the story was a huge pile of steaming crap but most of the main characters had a certain level of believability to them...at least they were relatable to some degree...that is until the story made them do something that was completely out of character.  

In FC3 the Characterization was magnificent...not only that but facial and body language were right on point.  All of Jason's friends were like real people that you have met or could meet.  The character of Buck scared the crap out of me.  He was both deeply charming and incredibly evil...brilliant.  There's no other word for it.

The problem with Primal is that good fiction is supposed to relate to the human condition.  Though it is fun to ride beasts and kick ass, there really isn't much meat-on-the-bone when it comes to relatable story.    My 'Story' self sat in the corner with her arms folded like a passive aggressive girlfriend at a 'guy's night poker game'.   I get it; everyone wants to be 'Minecraft'.  Well MC is done...we've played with our diamond swords...built railways...cursed at those green cactus looking things.  It's time for the young folk to bring in people who have imagination to make stories again.   That would be those who actually played outside with each other growing up.  Now THAT makes me feel like a Caveman!

Disposable relationships: A Commentary on "Relationship Advice"

Just recently I came across an "Advice" column for relationships.  Being a slightly older gentlemen, I thought to give some feedback on this based on my experience in life.  There is no 'One size fits all' for relationship advice.  People of different ages will have different needs and struggles.  I can't say that this is a 'Hack' column but those who read it should do so critically and not take it at face value.

So, without further ado:

8 Signs to Call It Quits on a Relationship

(but use your damn brain!)

1. You’re Only Staying Because Of ReligionThis can be a tough one. You might feel pressure from family or friends in your religious community to stay together. However, it’s never a good idea to be with someone simply because you share the same religion. If you’re not getting along with your partner in other ways, or you’re just not feeling that connection anymore, it’s time to move on.

No one cares.  You could be a Buddhist and a Muslim.  You are in a relationship because you like being in a relationship with this specific person.  Religious freedom is fundamental in a free society.  If it matters so much that the other person needs to be of the same religion as you then that falls under the category of 'Trying to change someone' and you need to give your head a shake.  Although this is actually written into Judaism as a prerequisite for Marriage. 

When the 'Religious Community' Tries to tell you to stay together there is a level of wisdom that the 'New' generations love to ignore:

And is said: "I'm just not feeling the connection anymore" 

(Then MAN or WOMAN the FUCK UP!!!)

 

Forget all the Hollywood BULLSHIT!  You are going to hurt someone very badly that you really should have actually cared for to be in a relationship with them!  Get the fuck over yourself and get the fuck to WORK!  Communicate effectively your feelings and stop 'Triangulating' with your friends more than talking directly TO YOUR PARTNER!!! 

 

That gets me talking.  If there is nothing else to consider

and you did have a connection at one time...try to understand what it was.  Also, you are in a relationship.  There is always 2 halfs to the whole.  Not to say that it has but if you have failed in yourself and it has manifested into the relationship (as it does) then you need to address that. 

 

Not everyone has 'Hollywood' looks that sexual partners drop into their laps on a daily basis.  Has a clearly marked and reasonable boundary been crossed repeatedly?  Have you repeatedly communicated your disapproval?  Then that's the sign to leave.   (Because, if fact, this would mean you are in a relationship with an abusive person)

2. Your Needs Aren’t Being MetIf you’re not being satisfied emotionally, sexually or intellectually, it’s probably time to move on. Ending a relationship is hard, but it’s sometimes the only correct thing to do. If you and your partner aren’t connecting on the most fundamental levels, it will be best for both of you to move on.

Sure...there has to be some sort of connection but If you are both old and one of you is just no where near the other anymore then I would suggest a different strategy...I mean that's pretty much the contract.  In that case, you would have to communicate getting your needs addressed somewhere else.  Still caring about, and possibly for, the other person but not at the entire exclusion of self.

The wording of the sentence can be tricky.  I think most young people figure that the very powerful "OR" in the top paragraph 'Should' be an "and".  That's night and day in difference.  No one can expect someone can be everything they need.  If you have that going on then 'Good for you'.  Is it real or is it a fantasy?  Being 'In Love' is Great! I love that feeling!  But really, it's more like a recreational drug.  It doesn't make you see things clearly.  If you just want that feeling of 'Being in Love' and you don't care who you hurt to get it...then you are no better than a drug addict.

Making real friends can be hard in this day and age.  People are all chummy on Facebook...but that's not a true friend.  If you are being satisfied emotionally and sexually...get an Intellectual friend.  Intellectually and Sexually; Get yourself someone who is in tune with their (and your emotions).   
'Intellectually and Emotionally' Then intellectualize your emotional need for sex (and settle on a reputable escort).

Honestly...we over complicate things these days.  The best advice I ever got was "So?".   It worked.   Don't just give something up because it is hard.  Life is supposed to be hard...that's the point of it.  Rise to the challenge...but don't try to create one...don't be a drama queen.

The Reign of the Polymorphic British Columbia Fascist Party

In the 80's they were the 'SoCreds' (Social Credit).  They later infiltrated and populated the BC Liberal Party.  They cater to those who have money and property and let everyone else suffer.  They are, in fact, the BC Fascist Party.  

No one (that really mattered) complained when the fascists rounded up all welfare recipients and crowded them like cattle into the corridors of what they liked to call 'Career Placement Agencies'.  No one (that really mattered) complained when the fascists killed people by denying them their pittance to survive on forcing them out onto the streets with no food, water or shelter.   When they cut advocacy programs for welfare to damn near nil.  These poor people, who were giving away 9/10 of their welfare cheque to rent a hovel of a shelter while trying to live on the remaining tenth of a pittance, had to come up with the money for public transportation to run around town submitting resumes.  When they complained to the agency about it, they were told: "You could always just walk"...unbelievable?  It is actually true.

Welfare also cut the rate at which these poor people could earn to $0!!!  If you were on Welfare and you earned a buck, Social Services would take that dollar back.  You actually lost money if you were working trying to make money...so it would suck you back into the depths of its grasp.  The Fascists turned Welfare into a form of Unemployment Insurance.  You needed to work a year to qualify for it and, if you were on it for 2 years, you were cut off.

When you are on 'The System', your life sucks.  Anyone who has ever been on 'The System' in the last 20 years knows how hard it is to survive - never mind keeping your mental health intact.  A former friend of mine said that welfare should be something you earn and that if you had been on it for a year, you have to go to a camp, get your head shaved, and dig ditches for 3 months...then you are good for another year.  Hey!  Structure, Shelter, 3 meals a day and a safe place to sleep!? I've got one question for you...How deep!?

Another friend of mine got work in a factory.  She got herself completely off the system.  She was working for 8 months - but then she got laid off.  She came back to Social Services (Populated by the meanest human beings on the planet) and they told her that, since she didn't work a full year, they couldn't do anything for her.  Sentencing her to either steal or enjoy a life on the street for her crime of trying to get her life back in order.    I still remember what Debra had said the sadistic Social  worker told her when she asked 'How can I pay my rent!?'  It was (and I can still remember this after all this time) "GO LIVE UNDER A BRIDGE".  The Fascists were trying to get rid of the poor and weak by killing them off.  Fortunately, this wonderful lady had plenty of friends (with couches) to help her out.

All of us who were living under that rein of terror, who the Fascists didn't kill off, know the face of the BC Liberal Party.  Now it is the working poor who are being marginalized.  Now it is those who don't own property.  The BC Fascist Party (Liberal)  cater only to those who have money - foreign investors who snatch up houses and condos where people are supposed to live.  They cater to those who DO own property.  Give them 20 years and there will only be 2 kinds of people - The Lords and the Serfs.

Let's talk about the Feds.  The Federal Government has never given 2 shits about BC...except to say "Give us more money... Princess Quebec wants a new diamond necklace or she will threaten to leave us again".   The people are sick of it and angry about it.  If things continue on this course, there will be a revolt that the cops won't have a prayer of stopping.  The closest military base in this country is in the most Western Province that the Feds give a shit about (Alberta).  Then the fucking foreign investors can go fuck themselves because everything comes back to the people at that point..and we're slamming the door shut.

According to the latest reports, 33% of those in homeless shelters year round have jobs.  Crazy?  I know.  Houses used as investment properties on Vancouver's West Side are sitting vacant while working people have to stay in homeless shelters.  Something is very wrong here.  Those who work in the city and can afford rent in the outlying areas must often spend several hours  aboard public transit in crowded, uncomfortable conditions.

Premier Christy Clark isn't really to blame.  She inherited this mess from the Right Assholable Gordon Campbell.  Ms Clark is just trying to make small changes that will move policy more toward the center without completely disturbing the status quo.  It is unfortunate that her information tends to be from VERY biased sources...which she hadn't the wisdom to see for what they were.

 This very charismatic metro sexual is Bob Rennie.  He is the very definition of how personality can be great while character; a rotting fish in the basement of an outhouse.  He is known as the 'Condo King'.  Bob tells everyone that "This is just the way things are - get over it" - while, in the course of finalizing a deal, a West side house can be sold 3 more times...rising a million dollars each time.  This guy often earns in a day what most people don't see, while working like a dog every day, in their life.  Given the condition of his skin and body...I doubt this man has seen an honest day's work in his entire life!  Christy Clark has been known to base serious judicial decisions based on BS propaganda submitted by this TOOL and his lofty pedigree of foreign money launderers (Real Estate Board of Greater Vancouver)  and their sleaze bag lawyers.  This guy saying to the homeless masses "That's the way it is - get over it"? He might as well be saying "Let them eat cake".  Didn't Marie Antoinette wear pink as well?

The situation is a mess.  Christy Clark bending her ear to biased sources just confirms her naivete.  Changes needed to be made that weren't ... because she didn't want to alienate her core voting demographic.  Fuck the vote.  Get some ovaries and lead like a leader.  Question the sources.  Challenge your assumptions...and realize..."Just because someone is likable doesn't mean they are a good person...or represent a good cause."

Here is the challenge.  BC has been known for its swaying between the left and right wing.  What it really needs is a good, solid middle.  A group that doesn't take any crap from the right.  Doesn't bleed money to the left.  A group that says "We are going to try to manage this for everyone".  A group that isn't afraid to tell Bob Rennie to "Open the Books...all of them."...and shut down shady housing investments from questionable (to say the least) foreign sources.

Because the soft changes weren't enough...the hard changes need to happen.
